Panasonic sets new worldrecord and show off 150 inch Plasma TV
January 12, 2008
Yes its true, Panasonic has once again shown what they are capable of, this time they have designed the biggest screen ever! Not many people will have the room for it, but if there’s a chance you will make the room as soon as you have earned and saved the money to buy it.
Its 1.9m tall and as big as 3×3 50″ Plasma TVs. Resolution is 4096 x 2160 which give you a total pixelcount of 8.84 million. This resolution is called ultra-large advanced high definition (there you go), and the screen can be split in two so you can watch two NFL games at the same time (this is the greatest feature), alternative it can be used in conference rooms where people normally fall asleep when they are watching a powerpoint presentation as the room has to be dark in order to lighten the room up, with this Plasma TV all the light can be switched on and everybody can still see whats going on. Another way of using it could be in the airport showing all the departures and arrivals, and if there’s a delay it could show a small live recording from the plane so you could see why it was delayed. Another way could be to use it on a catwalk, so you could see how the Vitoria Secrets underwear would actually look like in a bedroom. The possibilities are unlimited with this one, unfortunately price and availability is not public yet so we will have to wait some time, meanwhile we will start making savings for it.
